Today is the final post in my how to wear summer clothes into fall series. It’s really easy to fall into the trap of thinking that you need all new things for a new season. This series has helped me narrow down the pieces that I really need/want versus the ones that I can transition into fall. My last post focused on wearing a great blouse with denim shorts. Today is all about wearing a long sleeve maxi dress into fall—my favorite.
I’m wearing the Heirloom Dress from Emerson Fry and it’s a good one. This dress is perfect for layering or wearing solo in warmer weather. I styled it with my long sleeveless trench (sold out), but I included a few great options at the end of the post. My vest was an investment piece and totally worth it. I wear it all the time and honestly, it’s become a closet hero for me.
I included a few shots of this maxi dress without the vest because it’s such a gem. If you’re in the market for a long sleeve maxi, I would scoop this one up right now. I hope you enjoyed my how to wear summer clothes into fall series as much as I did creating it. Please reach out with any questions and I hope that you are enjoying cooler weather your way.
